Job Summary

To work within the Global Supply Planning team responsible for providing support for scenario planning, data maintenance and audit, creating and maintaining documentation, and generating routine GSP reports.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Master Planners to understand and analyze processes and Support process improvement initiatives within GSP and ensure their successful implementation by tracking tasks and their completion.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and ad hoc Supply Planning reports.
  • Generate new documentation and maintain existing documents for GSP processes and training plans.
  • Provide support to the monthly cycle of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Supply Review
  • Gather, organize and analyze information pertinent to operations and supply chain including demand changes, launch reporting, and BOM updates and present summary information and recommendations.
  • Assist the Supply Chain group in evaluating supply and demand data using spreadsheets and databases, and performing quantitative/qualitative analysis.
  • The Coordinator must ensure that all the applicable master data is accurate. Audit and refresh of master data according to the SAP IBP Global Baseline process, including addition of new launch information.
  • Support GSP Team with administrative tasks including eWDR issuance and Change Control issuance.
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Community College or University graduate in related discipline
    • APICS certified or actively working towards

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Knowledge of operational supply chain processes including the flow of materials and information
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks, short lead-times and adjust priorities in a professional manner
    • Ability to work independently or within an integrated team environment
    • Ability to perform situational root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective action
    • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential. SAP and MS Access and knowledge of VBA would be an asset
  • Experience
    • Previous supply chain background using ERP systems. SAP experience would be an asset
