We are looking for a strong and dedicated Project Leader to join our team of Global Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.


**Please note, this is an 11-months contract**

The Project Leader is responsible for the development, tracking and execution of detailed project plans for all projects, changes and initiatives that affect Global API Technical and Supply Management. Responsibilities will include the development of project charters, project related documents and in the detailed project management, execution and implementation of Global API initiatives.    





  • Lead cross-functional, Global API Projects, Changes and initiatives, serving as the project lead and primary contact for assigned projects at Apotex, throughout the development of project plans to successful project completion within the required timeline.
  • Facilitate and drive the supplier driven changes from the receipt of the changes till the closure of CCRs through track-wise system.
  • Work with all functional areas to manage project risk by allocating task and decision-making responsibilities to appropriate team members.  Ensure all plans and scheduled tasks are on target to achieve project success.
  • Lead and facilitate with the cross functional teams and ensure that prioritization of proposed changes is completed.
  • Participate in Global API meetings to assess cross-functional impact of changes and define implementation plans and strategies.  Ensure the team members understand the context of the change relative to the history or current situation for the project being discussed.





  • University degree in Business or Science related field.
  • Minimum 3 years specific experience in API technical management, API procurement or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) disciplines.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with ability to multitask; PMP certification would be considered an asset.
  • General knowledge of GMP and Pharmaceutical requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well with internal and external customers and interact with Senior management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP systems, Trackwise, project management software and other relevant technology considered an asset
