Job Summary

Responsible for providing sales and payment analysis to assist Sales Directors and assigned Sales Representatives with strategies and decision-making. Implement processes to analyse performance within territories. Establish relationships and provide customer service to the sales force.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide overall analysis of assigned territories by retrieving key monthly sales data reports to assist Sales Directors and Sales Representatives.  Reports originate from various sources, including DSM Cube; QLIK, SALESFORCE; IMS; SAP; and Business Objects and range in scope from entire territory down to customer level and molecule level.
  2. Manage all customer agreements in SAP with respect to creation, maintenance and closures.  Issue price correction reimbursements as needed.
  3. Maintain accurate accruals in customer agreements through monthly reconciliations and on-going monitoring.
  4. Maintain customer master and group and chain hierarchies. Ensure timely updates are distributed to the appropriate personnel.
  5. Reconcile and report on regional key accounts as assigned on a monthly and quarterly basis for business review purposes.  Liaise with Sales Representatives on a regular basis to review customer programs and business structure.
  6. Initiate ongoing communication with assigned Sales Representatives to ensure they have appropriate support and updated reports are available to them.
  7. Assist Manager in the preparation of management presentations at regional, management and national sales meetings.
  8. Conduct regular audit of sales representatives’ expenses and allowance documentation.  Identify reporting and payment irregularities with recommendation for resolution to Manager.
  9. In collaboration with Sales Planning, prepare monthly profitability reports summarizing sales activities of the region, territories and Key Regional accounts.  Monitors sales performance against plan, investigate and explain variances.
  10. Respond to all Sales Representative and Sales Management inquiries efficiently and in a timely manner and communicate with co-workers on all relevant matters.
  11. Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.

  13. Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
  14. All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • University Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or similar.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Detail-oriented and accuracy a necessity
  • Strong organizational / time management skills
  • Action-oriented, self-starter, and has ability to work well during peak pressure periods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of SAP and IMS data an asset
  • Knowledge of automation tools – TxShuttle and Macros
  • Minimum of 2-3 years data analysis experience
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
