Job Summary
Global Procurement is responsible to manage around $1.5B worth of goods and services, from approximately 5,000 trade suppliers, supplying our sites and supporting various business units. Our ambition is t built a best-in-class, harmonized and flawless Procurement process, easy to use for our stakeholders and adding value to Apotex.
The Global Procurement Excellence, Manager is th representative of Global Procurement Excellence team at corporate level. Responsible to implement all Global Procurement best practices (for source to contract process, category management excellence, risk management and procurement sustainability, partnership excellence, learning and change management support, M&A support). This position ensures that ways of working are efficient and enable the procurement team to focus on strategic activities.
Job Responsibilities

- Manage initiatives, projects, and programs to improve governance, increase efficiency, and maximize Global Procurement reliability and enterprise profitability through the implementation of business processes, tools, and resources; to achieve functional objectives.
- Identify potential improvement opportunities in the S2C (source to contract) process;
- Manage and report Savings KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to ensure that the target year over year is successfully achieved.
- Understand all the S2C initiatives (such as contract management improvements, new ways of working, catalog and marketplace implementations, service support), leads the implementation of projects, collaborating with business stakeholders and category managers.
- Be aware of external benchmarks and trends to ensure ways of identifying cost savings opportunities and business processes upgrading. Collect and address needs for market intelligence.
- Develop and deploy Procurement Systems implementation at the corporate level.
- Follow up automated buying channels (catalog, marketplace) implementation and agreed KPIs.
- Design and monitor key KPIs such as number of active suppliers and provide appropriate analysis and insights.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports from SAP/ARIBA and summarize in presentation format.
- Support Supplier Relationship management (SRM) program in close relationship with Category Managers, in corporate level intitiaves (i.e., ESG; Finance).

Job Requirements
- Education
- University degree or equivalent business experience in Business and/or Science, Information Systems and or Procurement/Supply Chain/Operations discipline related field
- MBA and/or ISM CPSM certification or training would be an asset
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated experience in managing, influencing and coordinating complex projects and activities and stakeholder interaction, including non-direct reports.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills; ability to work independently and manage priorities.
- Knowledge of and experience with the MS-Office suite of products; with particular emphasis on MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-Project (or other PM software).
- Proficiency with SAP, Ariba, and other enterprise Procurement systems, e-Sourcing and contract management tools required.
- Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement or related function
- 5+ years of experience leading Organizational and Business Process Improvement and in managing the required change and communication strategies
- 5+ years of experience in countinuous improvement initiatives within SAP/ARIBA
