Job Summary
SAP ECC consultant with ability to plan, design, develop, implement and maintain applications and related integration enterprise solutions which meet tactical and strategic business requirements. Provide expert insight into related application and infrastructure activities to meet customers’ needs.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, provide, and recommend professional standards for Finance domain areas.
- Act as senior professional practitioner in determining the tactical implementation of strategic requirements.
- Respond to highly complex and unconventional queries from external and internal customers.
- Provide FI/CO production support in SAP ECC and other finance systems to the business.
- Assist the business with process improvements and development of metrics from information technology systems.
- Conduct research in the marketplace to determine “best practices” and emerging trends recommending action as appropriate.
- Evaluate and recommend external suppliers and contractors for the provision of services.
- Take a proactive role in facilitating and monitoring adoption and use of systems.
- Research and keep up-to-date on related applications technology trends, and their potential benefits to Apotex.
- Work with GIS FI/CO peers and cross functional teams in the evaluation, implementation, enhancement, and support of solutions.
- Use advanced analysis and problem solving techniques to assess, identify, and recommend / resolve process and application challenges.
- Provide technical leadership in all project phases including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and support.
- Formulate, manage, and follow up on actions taken for the ongoing development of self and other junior staff.
- Provide input within policy for the recruitment process.
- Coach, motivate, and mentor other team members.
- Contribute in developing governances, processes and rules that are transparent and well understood.
- Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
- To complete the assigned trainings on time and follow the good documentation procedures.
- Provide correct, complete and timely feedback to superiors and stakeholders.
- Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

- Support GIS Management during audits from internal or external customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, in accordance with job responsibilities and necessary department activities.
- May be required to be on-call. All such work will be covered by the requirements of the on-call policy.

Job Requirements
- Education
- Graduate degree in Information Systems/Engineering/Business Administration or Sciences.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Solid SAP ECC FI/CO skill with expert knowledge in CO PA, Costing, AP, AR and GL Accounting.
- Illustrate concise and clear written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings and styles.
- Show excellent listening skills with ability to follow instructions and guidelines clearly.
- Demonstrate ability to make critical decisions, solve and trouble shoot complex problems based on analysis, experience and judgement.
- Originate or initiate new and unique ideas to resolve technical problems.
- Function in a fast paced and continuously changing environment.
- Show excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities to accomplish objectives and goals anticipating and adjusting for problems and interruptions/roadblocks.

- Experience
- Minimum 10 years combined experience in Pharmaceutical/Process Industry, Consumer Packaged Goods, Information Systems, or Management Consulting Environment.
- Minimum 10 years working in SAP FI/CO environment
