Job Summary
Reporting to the Director, Global Demand Planning (GDP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), the IBP Manager/Lead is responsible for the development and management of supporting systems and tools used in the GDP and IBP processes, including adherence to all corporate controls,governance and opportunities identification to enhance the quality and timeliness of the global demand plan.
The role represents the Supply chain planning as the global forecasting (SAP IBP) tool steward, generates and publishes reports on all IBP, material load changes and variances and KPI’s in a timely fashion for proper escalation to management to drive decision making and best practice behaviours in demand planning.
This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various team including Commercial Operations, Corporate Finance, and Global Supply Planning in the exchange of data to support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
Job Responsibilities
- The IBP Lead/Analyst will provide subject matter expertise in all tools leveraged to support forecasting, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes .
- Lead the implementation of new IBP tools and methodologies, providing training and support to cross-functional teams. Continuously evaluate and refine the usage if SAP IBP to enhance efficiency, data quality, and decision-making capabilities for all markets.
- Analyzes complex, large datasets to uncover trends, build predictive models, and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand accuracy & bias and supply chain efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.
- Serve as lead data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities, and work closely with the engineering team in the development of data products.
- Continuously evolve and own the IBP central & releated reports development & maintainenece ensuring it is always the one source of truth.
- Works collaboratively with commercial and finance stakeholders to consolidate data to create global demand plans within the IBP tool for presentation in the Demand Review meetings.
- Develop, generate and publish relevant demand/forecasting metrics on a monthly basis and provides analytical insights. Lead or support monthly metrics review meetings as required.
- Support the Director and AD, Global Demand Planning and IBP with the aggregation of demand plans to create a single, accurate and timely Global demand plan that is endorsed by senior management.
- Partners with demand planners across various commercial teams to ensure adherence to the process, tracking changes, escalating issues and instilling the governance for the maintenance of the material load.
- Act as the demand forecasting SME, works with the demand planners to assess and redesign current forecasting processes to improve forecast accuracy performance.
- Attend and lead key meetings necessary related to demand planning activities.
- Support the integration of New Product Launch requirements into the Demand Plan using exisiting tools and systems systems.
- Provide support on projects, strategic initiatives or decisions related to demand planning & IBP.
- Enures that the IBP team owns all master data elements owned by the Global Demand Planning Team.
- Leverage multiple data sources to generate adhoc reports and provide insight based on the requirements requested from management.

Job Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in statistics, engineering, applied mathematics, or related discipline
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Required at least 5 years of ‘hands on’ supply chain experience specifically in SAP-IBP for Supply Chain, with meaningful experience in Forecasting and Demand, S&OP, and Response and Supply modules
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS)
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g. ERP/SAP), master data and organizations business processes is considered an asset
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, data mining and visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI)
- Deep understanding of demand forecasting concepts, techniques and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication and proven ability to foster positive relations with customers and key stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter, work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience
- 5 years of relevant Demand Planning/IBP expereince in a related industry with knowledge of forecasting, demand planning or IBPprocesses
- 3-5 years of ‘hands on’ experience in key technologies and applications such as SAP-IBP for Supply Chain modules, MS-Office, Power BI, Qlik etc.
- Experience in Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations within Pharmaceutical / CPG industry considered an asset

The hiring range for this position is $ 95,594.40 - $ 133,832.16 CAD per year. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
