Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Planning (GSP), the IBP Supply Lead  is responsible for the development and management of supporting systems and tools used in the GSP and IBP SR processes, including adherence to all corporate controls, governance and opportunity identification to enhance the quality and timeliness of the global supply network. 

The role represents the Global Supply network as the global planning (SAP IBP) tool steward, generating and publishing reports on all IBPsupply changes, capacity variances and KPI’s in a timely fashion for proper escalation to management to drive decision making and best practice behaviours in supply planning.

This role involves cross-functional collaboration with various teams including Site Supply Chain Execution, Production, Opex, Global Demand Planning and Corporate Finance in the exchange of data to support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

Job Responsibilities

  • The IBP Supply Lead will provide subject matter expertise in all tools leveraged to support supply planning, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes .
  • Lead the implementation of new IBP tools and methodologies, providing training and support to cross-functional teams. Continuously evaluate and refine the usage of SAP IBP Supply to enhance efficiency, data quality, and decision-making capabilities for all sites.
  • Analyzes complex, large datasets to uncover trends, support verification of planning heuristics, and provide actionable insights for business decisions
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to planning, inventory projections & capacity imbalances and drive supply chain efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Serve as lead data strategist to identify and integrate new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities, and work closely with the engineering team in the development of data products
  • Works collaboratively with supply chain and finance stakeholders to consolidate data to create global supply plans within the IBP Supply tool for presentation in the Supply Review meetings.
  • Develop, generate and publish relevant supply/inventory metrics on a monthly basis and provides analytical insights. Lead or support monthly metrics review meetings as required.
  • Support the Director and AD, Global Supply Planning OSD with the aggregation of supply plans to create a single, accurate and timely site based supply plan that is endorsed by senior management.
  • Partners with molecule planners to ensure adherence to the process, tracking changes, escalating issues and instilling the governance for the maintenance of the master production schedule and master data.
  • Act as the IBP Supply SME, works with the molecule planners to assess and redesign current planning master data to improve supply performance.
  • Support the integration of New Product Launch requirements into IBP Supply Plans using exisiting tools and systems.
  • Provide support on projects, strategic initiatives or decisions related to SAP IBP Supply.
  • Leverage multiple data sources to generate adhoc reports and provide insight based on the requirements requested from management.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in analytics, supply chain, computer science, or related discipline
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Required at least 5 years of ‘hands on’ supply chain experience specifically in SAP-IBP for Supply Chain, with meaningful experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Optimizer, S&OP, and Response and Supply modules
    • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS)
    • Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g. ERP/SAP), master data and organizations business processes is considered an asset
    • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, data mining and visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI)
    • Deep understanding of planning concepts, techniques and best practices
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication and proven ability to foster positive relations with customers and key stakeholders
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to be a self-starter, work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment
