Job Summary
Responsible to drive and optimize Demand Management processes. Partners with cross-functional teams from Sales and Commercial, to Supply and Operations.
Responsible for consolidating and measuring the Demand Forecast Accuracy and Bias across all markets. Monitor forecast changes and effectively communicate assumptions driving the demand plans. Utilizes effectively systems, tools, and data sets to provide coherent and clear Demand picture, as well as IBP financial plan. Align the IBP plan to the SAP material load forecast in both dosages and dollars to direct resource allocation, production, and deployment decisions.
Manages the bid review and demand control processes on an ongoing basis to help capitalize on market growth opportunities.
Acts as the Conduent between Commercial Organization and the Supplier Organization, and as the “Voice of the Customer” within AGO, by demonstrating a strong knowledge of the markets’ business models and practices. Ensure the global commercial demand teams facilitate and provide an unconstrained view of market demand to help drive capacity planning and production priorities across the portfolio.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with Commercial teams to enhance Forecast Accuracy and eliminate bias across all markets, ensuring corrective actions are developed and executed.
- Communicate demand forecast plans, changes, and assumptions to GSP & site execution teams to resolve potential supply gaps resulting from forecast changes and impact on the supply chain.
- Actively support Customer Service Improvement; identify and highlight products going on backorder driven by demand changes or under-forecasting. Work closely with Commercial teams to mitigate backorders and implement corrective actions.
- Manage the bid review and demand control processes, with Global Supply Planning, External Supply, Materials Planning and Commercial Operations to find solutions supporting revenue, margin and cashflow growth and service performance
- Drive process improvement in Demand Planning for CAN and ROW markets; ensure efficient integration of new markets and acquisitions, i.e., Searchlight into Enterprise Demand Management and IBP.
- Support financial forecast accuracy improvement. Compare market actuals with the IBP Plan, making decisions on adjusting upcoming demand signals, identifying abnormal patterns.
- Manage the Demand & Supply Balancing process via effective demand management, cross functional views on supply risk/ opportunities, material load and IBP plan alignment.
- Support the IBP Demand Review /Supply Review process and associated meetings
- Collaborate with NPL and Commercial Ops. to measure, monitor and revise where necessary launch demand and ensure post-launch service is maintained.
- Continuously improve Demand Management processes, systems, and tools; ensure data is accessible, informative, and easy to nativage, allowing effective decision making and enhancing integration across all business functions.
- Work with large datasets and files. Provide data analysis per business needs, ensure data coherency and validation (“one source of truth”) providing clear visibility to key stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Utilize open, honest, two-way communication to build trust-based relationships with business partners while continuously improving leadership skills.

Job Requirements
- Education
- University degree in Engineering/ Business/ Science related field
- Relevant Post- graduate degree such as MBA from reputed universities/ schools considered an asset
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent understanding of ERP/SAP processes including demand planning, supply planning and master data
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications, data mining and visualization tools. Strong knowledge and use of statistical forecasting tools/systems
- Superior written and oral communication skills including ability to storyboard and succinctly articulate complex ideas, proposals and recommendations
- Excellent decision-making, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent understanding of business processes and supply chain
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct and timely communication and proven ability to foster positive relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to function in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment
- Ability and confidence in presenting to Executive Leadership
- Independent, fast-learning skills
- Experience
- 5-10 years of total work experience in Demand Planning/ Strategy/ Supply Chain/ Commercial/ Operations related roles in Pharmaceuticals/ CPG or related industry sectors
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as PowerBI and Qliksense; VBA and SQL would be an asset

The hiring range for this position is $95,594.40 - $133,832.16 CAD per year. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
