Job Summary

The Project Manager, ROW & LATAM is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and reporting of strategic projects across Rest of World (ROW) and Latin America (LATAM) markets. This role serves as a critical link between portfolio governance and project execution, ensuring that approved initiatives are effectively translated into actionable plans that are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives.

The incumbent works cross-functionally with stakeholders from Regulatory Affairs, Global R&D, Quality, Global Intellectual Properties, Global Business Development, Commercial, Portfolio and other functional areas to drive project success through disciplined planning, proactive risk management, and clear accountability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in portfolio review and selection meetings and translate strategic decisions into executable project plans aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand project objectives and drive discussions in project kick-off meetings to ensure alignment on goals, roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules (e.g., in Microsoft Project), including milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities, drive execution through proactive follow-up, foster collaboration, and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones, demonstrating flexibility and adapting working hours as needed to ensure effective communication, alignment, and timely project execution.
  • Monitor project progress against timelines and deliverables, proactively identifying risks, delays, and resource constraints.
  • Escalate deviations in a timely manner and develop mitigation and recovery plans to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Facilitate project meetings, decision-making, and action tracking while ensuring alignment with governance standards and organizational processes.
  • Contribute to project budget planning by identifying incremental costs and resource requirements.
  • Prepare project escalation materials for program review meetings.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification considered an asset.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across international markets and diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project and project planning methodologies.
    • Strong planning and execution discipline.
    • Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable project plans.
    • Proactive identification and management of risks and issues.
    • Effective stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership.
  • Experience
    • Experience managing complex cross-functional projects in a regulated environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

The hiring range for this position is $95,594.40 - $133,832.16 per year. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
