Job Summary
As a member of the GESO project management team, the co-op student will obtain valuable exposure to the phamaceuitcal supply chain and manufacturing technology, and gain hands-on experience that complements their academic studies.
Utilizing a variety of project management tools, the individual will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities within the GESO Project Management team by monitoring project schedules, developing and providing reports/dashboards, and ensuring project documents and files are kept accurate and up to date.
GESO Co-Op Student will support strategic projects and PLCM by collaborating on change management and process improvement initiatives. You will collaborate and build relationships with colleagues and global external partner who represent diverse work, culture and resolution styles.
This role will work across the functional areas to provide indirect support to core project team members such as SRM, QA, RA, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
The work term can be for 12 months or 16 months.
Job Responsibilities
- Follow-up and ensure the completion of all change requests related to PLCM, SAP codes, master recipes, MMaRs, MPaRs, finished good, semi-finished, packaging component and unique excipient codes, as necessary.
- Coordinate material shipments to global parters in support of projects.
- Utilize SAP, EPM, databases, project tools, systems, methodologies and software to plan and execute activities with the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
- Retrieve and provide excuted batch records, when necessary.
- Maintain EPM Dashboard and project plan, and trackers.
- Participate in cross functional meetings and communications with key stakeholders in support of achieving commercial readiness.
- Support PMs with meeting minutes, agendas, and follow-ups.
- Organize files and maintain accurate information on SharePoint sites.
- Draft slides for required presentations.
- Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements
- Education
- Must be enrolled in a University Program (Business and/or Science related field preferred).
- Candidates must be able to legally work in Canada at the time of applying for this position and be available to work full time starting in January 2021 for at least 12 consecutive months.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; must be able to communicate appropriately with other employees in different positions within the company (i.e. Technicians, Managers, Coordinators etc.).
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Highly collaborative with ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Experience working with ERP systems is an asset.
- Must be able to learn and follow GMP guidelines and policies.
- Experience working in a GMP environment is an asset.
- Project Management experience is an asset.
