Job Summary

Join the Global Procurement Excellence team at Apotex for a dynamic co-op term. This role is designed for a motivated student eager to dive into the digital transformation journey of a global procurement organization. You will work closely with leadership to enhance data integrity, enable cutting-edge digital tools, and support strategic initiatives that drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

  • Cost Savings Reporting & Analytics: Assist the Procurement Excellence team in tracking and reporting cost savings on monthly basis. You will help refine dashboard visualizations in platforms like Power BI and Excel to provide clear spend categorization and supplier insights.
  • Digital Tool Enablement: Support the administration and rollout of digital procurement systems, including spend management platforms and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) tools. This includes hands-on work with systems such as SAP Ariba (S2C, P2P) and specialized spend management software.
  • Supplier Enablement: Work on supplier onboarding and vendor data management, ensuring high data integrity within the Vendor Master and Purchase Info Records (PIR) in SAP ERP systems.
  • Procurement Roadshows & Communication: Support the team in driving procurement roadshows across various business units to promote new processes and the digital transformation roadmap.
  • Process Documentation: Help maintain and update policies and procedures for Direct & Indirect.
  • AI & Innovation Support: Gain exposure to the evaluation and onboarding of AI-driven sourcing solutions and market intelligence tools.
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

  • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a University degree program, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and an interest in data visualization tools like Power BI.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A keen interest in digital technology, AI applications in business, and corporate sustainability (ESG).
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.

Education

    • Study focus on Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Demonstrated Pharmaceutical interest is an asset.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate appropriately with other employees in different positions within the company.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Workiing knowledge of Word, Excell and Power Point are essential.

Experience

    • Intermediate to senior level student/ 2nd, 3rd or 4th year

The hiring range for this position is $18.00 - $24.50 CAD per hour. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
