Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Channel Visibility & Analytics is a regional individual contributor responsible for creating reliable, actionable visibility of product availability, inventory, distribution and performance across the channel for OTC, Rx / Established Products and SACCA. The role will work across business units, countries, distributors, pharmacy chains, customers and internal functions to secure and consolidate the data required to understand where products are available, how they are moving and where execution gaps may limit demand generation or sales. The position will independently translate channel data into insights and priorities, highlight material availability and distribution risks, and drive cross-functional follow-up with the accountable commercial and supply stakeholders. An initial priority will be Mexico, where the role will help distinguish demand-generation issues from inventory concentration, low rotation, returns, delistings and point-of-sale availability gaps. The role provides the visibility and follow-up that enable business owners to take timely action; commercial execution and final business decisions remain with the respective Business Units and functional leaders.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the regional channel visibility capability across OTC, Rx / Established Products and SACCA, adapting the approach to different business models, markets and data availability.
- Own the acquisition of relevant channel data from distributors, pharmacy chains and other commercial partners. Proactively engage and negotiate with the responsible external stakeholders to establish the agreements, access and recurring information flows required to provide visibility of inventory, product movement, distribution and point-of-sale availability, coordinating with Procurement, Legal and other internal functions as appropriate.
- Consolidate sell-in, sell-out, inventory, distribution and other available channel information into a reliable view of product availability and performance.
- Identify and quantify availability and distribution gaps, including out-of-stocks, inventory concentration, low rotation, returns and delisting risks that may contribute to lost sales.
- Provide visibility by customer, chain, geography, point of sale and SKU to help Business Units prioritize the outlets and opportunities with the greatest commercial potential.
- Translate complex channel information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for Business Units, Sales, KAMs and Commercial Leadership.
- Establish regular follow-up routines and independently drive cross-functional alignment on material channel issues, tracking agreed actions and escalating recurring or significant gaps when required.
- Support fact-based decisions on distribution, coverage and product movement, helping distinguish demand-generation challenges from channel availability or execution issues.
- Build and manage effective relationships with distributors, pharmacy chains, customers and internal stakeholders, holding the necessary business discussions to improve the availability, consistency, quality and timeliness of channel data and to convert that visibility into actionable follow-up.
- Develop scalable methodologies, KPIs and ways of working that can support the future growth of the channel visibility capability and potential future team expansion.
- Include the following for all Individual Contributors (those who are not People Leaders)
- Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
- Demonstrate Behaviours that exhibit our organizational Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
- Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
- All other relevant duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Analytics or a related discipline. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is an asset.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect channel, inventory and distribution data to business implications and actions.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability; able to integrate multiple data sources and translate complex information into clear recommendations.
- Strong influencing, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, with the maturity to engage external commercial partners and drive alignment and follow-up across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to work independently across multiple business units and countries, prioritize ambiguous business questions and escalate material risks appropriately.
- Strong communication and data-storytelling skills; advanced Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) required. Experience with pharmaceutical/retail market and distributor data is preferred.
- Experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in commercial analytics, channel/customer analytics, sales excellence, commercial operations, business intelligence, category management or related roles, preferably within pharmaceutical, consumer health, FMCG or retail environments.
