Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Global Treasury & Capital Strategy, supports the day‑to‑day execution of global treasury operations. This role contributes to the company’s broader capital and liquidity strategy by preparing daily cash position, weekly liquidity reporting, and the 13‑week cash forecast across global entities. The position also oversees key payment processes, maintains supplier banking data, and supports initiatives to modernize payment rails. In addition, the role is responsible for maintaining accurate treasury records that enable effective cash management and operational efficiency across the organization.

This role is intended to be filled by a candidate with 3 -5 years of experience in similar role who is able to operate with a high degree of independence and ownership within the global treasury function

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare the daily cash position report for North American (NA) and Rest of World (ROW) entities. This involves extracting data from banking portals, reconciling previous day balances, and forecasting current day closing balances
  • Manage the collection of incoming data from NA & ROW entities to ensure accurate and timely receipt and processing for the Net Debt Report
  • Manage the data received from ROW and NA entities for input into the 13 Week Cash Forecast Model. Collaborating with various entities across different regions to collect timely, accurate, and complete data is crucial for setting and achieving the Net Debt target for the upcoming quarter
  • Collaborate with the AP, Rebates, and Royalty teams to set up wires, ACH/EFT, and cheque payment runs efficiently and on time, ensuring that outgoing funds are remitted in accordance with the 13 Week Forecast
  • Maintain a database of templates in the online banking portal to ensure supplier banking information is verified, input, and approved. Follow the Vendor Authorization process, working with AP to safeguard the integrity of data within ScotiaConnect
  • Assist with the migration initiative to move cheque and wire-paid suppliers and customers to EFT and ACH payment methods. Work with AP, Rebates, and Royalty teams to collect electronic banking details from suppliers and customers
  • Maintain and assist building Banking relationships and support creation, update, closure of bank accounts & services
  • Procatively assist in gathering and competing data for Global Insurance Policy Renewal and ongoing collaboration with the insurance broker, NA & ROW entities for any insurance related questions.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance / management or related field.
    • Designation is asset but not required (CPA or equivalent, or CTP, or CIP)
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity, and treasury operations
    • Proficiency with cash positioning, forecasting, and banking platforms
    • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
    • High attention to detail and ability to work independently
    • Clear communication skills for working with cross‑functional teams
    • Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of treasury experience (cashflow forecasting, disbursements, processing, management)
