Job Summary

A role-holder to drive the entire process to target the on-time production and delivery of product with quality compliance and cost improvisation.

Job Responsibilities

  • To ensure that cGMP practices are followed in area, as per cGMP regulations.
  • To ensure proper safety practices are in place & are followed, & also create awareness for same.
  • To ensure as per schedule preventive maintenance of the machines on the shop floor are getting done.
  • To plan the availability of the resources in multiple areas for one month in advance, so that there should not be any kind of delay in respective shifts on shop floor.
  • To review executed batch document & ensure that batch execution happens as per instructions given in MF / SOP.
  • To ensure new equipment Qualification status prior to execution of batch & to update it as on need basis & get it qualified.
  • To resolve the quality issues or any delays by coordinating with other departments.
  • To evaluate, investigate & find the root cause for any quality incidences on shop floor.
  • To be very well aware about detail procedure / practices /systems so as can be known SME for that particular section.
  • As an SME shall handle & investigate the incidents & deviations in production through Trackwise & suggest CAPA.
  • To initiate & get the required change controls completed through QMS system.
  • To review & approve of New Batch Documents in Live-link.
  • To do GAP Analysis by reviewing site specific procedures with Global policies & procedures.
  • Recruit, train, develop & manage effectively the ongoing performance of their direct reports, which includes, but is not limited to:
  • Ensuring their Job Descriptions are reviewed, signed & sent to Employee Services, annually,
  • Reviewing & updating employee development plans, ensuring that all employees are properly trained & qualified to execute their duties,
  • Providing coaching, feedback & recognition,
  • Responsible to ensure compliance of team members (direct reports) with Safety & Employment policies (e.g., Respect in the Workplace – Prevention of Violence &/or Harassment).
  • Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.
  • Performs all work in support of our Corporate Values of Pride, Accountability, Integrity & Diligence; Demonstrates strong & visible support of our values.
  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory & compliance & safety requirements.
  • Participate & lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support & remove barriers; &, communicate & revisit performance expectations to reinforce & encourage high performance culture & a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners & direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback & development.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelors of Pharmacy or Masters of Pharmacy.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Based on Job Requirement, above criteria may change in consultation with Department Head/HR.
  • Should be proficient in handling shop floor activities individually in shift.
  • Experience of working on online modules / software would be an added.
