Job Summary

Compiles and analyzes brand and generic pharmaceutical market data for the purpose of evaluating and identifying products of interest. Analysing the pricing and market data to facilitate business decisions. Responsible for analysing and reporting of competitor molecules on a regular basis to support in tracking pipline products & competition analysis.Assist in compiling data to support sales activities on new product launches. Compile reports to support regulatory compliance activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides support to the organization in regards to the processing of various Pharmaceutical data sources likeIQVIA , TSA, Hospital and Claims Data
• Supporting product launch activities by coordinating cross functionally and producing product launch presentations
• Supporting pricing analysis by creating excel files and executing it into an SSIS tool (SQL) for further analysis. Troubleshooting of errors is performed as and when required.
• Ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions, working on product data, secondary research.
• Portfolio analysis/Therapy area analysis such as marketed/pipeline products, competition analysis, portfolio overlap & value, market share analysis etc.
• Sound Knowledge of Canada Market with respect to Notice Of compliance, Drug product Database, Generic Potential dollar value calculation & Pricing market
• Monitoring market activites for competitive changes and alerting key stakeholders on latest changes

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree required in Pharmacy/Scientific discipline, or a similar degree; advanced degree in business management or science preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong and proven quantitative, qualitiative, analytical reasoning and communication skills
• Must have extensive experience with IQVIA sales data packages and the pharmaceutical sales process
• Must be organized and have the ability to present themselves to others
• Competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access and familiar with data warehouse environments.
• Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative and strong analytical skills.
• Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Highly self-directed and solution-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail.

COMPUTER OPERATIONS

Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel & PowerPoint skills required.

Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Some exporsure to SSIS is a plus.

IQVIA and other pharmaceutical database knowledge.
