Job Summary

The GBS Executive role will collaborate with the US and Global Portfolio Teams to expand current data analytics. Responsibilities include: Compiling and analyzing brand and generic pharmaceutical market data for the purpose of identifying market trends and generating monthly/ad-hoc reporting; Implementing processes related to data gathering and analysis; Establishing SOPs for the maintenance of data processes; Assisting in prioritization of the the portfolio based on projected revenue potential taking into consideration the market landscape, development cycles, and submission timing; Creating Dashboards and visualizations that are easily understood and maintained. Additionally, this role integrates portfolio strategy, commercial excellence, and launch execution to maximize revenue potential and market impact. The individual will collaborate with the US and global teams to analyze market trends, optimize portfolio decisions, and implement best practices for launch readiness and performance tracking.

Job Responsibilities

Portfolio & Market Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive market assessments using industry tools (e.g., IQVIA, FDA Orange Book, Medi-Span) to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Support portfolio prioritization based on revenue potential, competitive landscape, regulatory timelines, and development cycles.
  • Maintain and enhance portfolio dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility of performance metrics.

 

Launch Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage detailed launch plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Monitor launch KPIs and implement corrective actions to optimize performance.
  • Ensure required state and government launch reporting is completed.

 

Commercial Excellence

  • Establish and standardize processes for launch readiness, including SOPs for data management and reporting.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in forecasting, pricing strategy, and market access planning.
  • Create and deliver training materials to enhance commercial capabilities across teams.

 

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Design and deploy interactive dashboards (i.e., Power BI) to track portfolio performance and launch progress.
  • Design a refreshed financial analysis model for the broader team to implement taking into consideration how the current model feeds existing processes to ensure seamless transition.
  • Generate monthly and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Implement methodologies for continuous improvement in data accuracy and decision-making.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree required either in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Pharmacy/Scientific discipline, or a similar degree; advanced degree in business management or science preferred
  • Strong and proven quantitative, qualitiative, analytical reasoning and communication skills
  • Competent in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Access and familiar with data warehouse environments.
  • IQVIA and other pharmaceutical database knowledge preferred (Price Rx, FDA Sites etc)
  • Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities successfully and work independently while demonstrating initiative and strong analytical skills
  • Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly self-directed and solution-oriented

COMPUTER OPERATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in data preparation, data analysis,advanced report writing, and data presentation
  • 3+ years experience using BI tools (PowerBI preferred) to create interactive data visualizations and reports
  • 2+ years experience working with PowerQuery
  • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office Suite
