Job Summary

Reporting to the Team leader, Global Supply Chain Analytics Lead Executive will be responsible to ensure the effective creation, development, and maintenance of reports and metrics for the GSC Analytics within Global Supply Chain division.

The Global Supply Chain Analytics Lead Executive enables the delivery of data analytics and reports primarily for Global Supply Chain department. The required analysis may also involve other operational and financial areas. He/She will be working cross-functionally across multiple business teams with multiple stakeholders.

The Lead Executive role will be responsible to manage GSC metrics and analytical activities performed in conjunction with Global Supply Chain Analytics department and maintain both new and existing relationships. They ensure that the right services are delivered accurately on time to fulfil the obligations with a SLA (Service Level Agreement) mindset. They possess strong process domain and data management knowledge, and have skills in data analysis, facilitation, and communications.

This role works globally and cross-functionally, providing strategic direction and data analytics support to corporate teams, cross-functional departments and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, while ensuring alignment with GBS business strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates well-developed project management skills to manage the flow of metrics / analytics activities
  • Responsible for planning and monitoring execution of metrics / reporting activities. Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of post-launch changes of Global Supply Chain reports / metrics / tools launched to stakeholders.
  • Provide the visibility on “Why” the KPIs generated meet/did not meet the set threshold. This includes cross functional collaboration to understand the “Why”.
  • Create and maintain a schedule of metrics / analytics activities to be delivered in a timely manner. Continually monitoring the progress of said activities to ensure that they are being completed as required.
  • Significant support of driving the advancement of the Global Supply Chain metric & reporting program.
  • Work with the GTA team at structuring data to support the development / maintenance of metrics / analytics and PowerBI/ BI tools.
  • Utilizing SAP database tools, systems, methodologies, and software to plan and execute the Global Supply Chain activities associated with the data analytics and metrics programs.
  • Uses tools (e.g. MS Project or Excel) to manage and support the evaluation cycle steps relative to defined timelines and assigned priorities.
  • Work towards delivering standards by which to assess the performance relative to the activities required.
  • Facilitate cross functional meetings and communications for key stakeholders in support of achieving commercialization, obstacle resolution and general continuous improvement activities.
  • Effectively communicate using designed systems and/or tools to support effective metrics / analytics implementations or changes to the implementation.
  • Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied services reporting and follow up with GBS employees for completion of corrective actions.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • University undergraduate degree required in business and/or computer science. Specialization in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Technology Management or Engineering required.
    • MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Advanced PowerBI skillset or equivalent software
    • Advanced Supply Chain Management and Analytics knowledge
    • Advanced levels of written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail oriented and analytical
    • Demonstrated ability to increase customer satisfaction / customer success
  • Experience
    • 5 + years of Business Analytics / Data Analytics experience
    • 5+ years’ experience in building, support and troubleshooting of Manufacturing based SAP ERP systems
    • 3 – 5 years Supply Chain experience
    • Direct experience in establishing customer outcomes and measures
    • Significant presentation skills
    • Practiced collaborator with demonstrated capability to partner with other business functional and internal stakeholder, comfortable within a culture of rigorous regulatory and scientific process excellence
    • 2+ years of BI software tool; PowerBI experience preferred
