Job Summary

This role is a (12 to 18 month contract) that will be accountable for the implementation and on-going management of the Global Talent Management Centre of Expertise (CoE) programs. This company-wide CoE develops organizational capability by introducing, maintaining and evolving Global Talent Management programs, tools, policies, and resources.  Programs include, but are not limited to, Performance Management, On-boarding and Orientation, Succession Planning, Leadership Development, Employee Experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement Global Talent Management programs aligned to business strategy and goals that support the development of people inclusive of training, development, assessments, coaching.
  • Manage the day to day activities of Global Talent Management programs, including follow up on execution of activities, assessing the fine-tuning needs within client groups, reporting on findings and making recommendations to close gaps.
  • Collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners globally to implement programs, assess in-country needs, build capabilities, conduct and manage ongoing assessment of program implementation success and look for opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with the business, primarily managers and directors, to conduct needs assessments, evaluate in-country specific needs and determine essential customization requirements.
  • Seek and recommend continuous improvement opportunities in global programs aligned with the Global Talent Management Strategy, industry best practices and internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Act as the Success Factors SME and back up to the Value Stream Owner for All Success Factors Performance Management and Success Factors activities including:  
    • Partnering with the Value Stream owner in maintaining a strong understanding of Success Factors operational processes, executing end-to-end process module activities, acting as the first line technical support, identifying system capability gaps which do not support the overall value stream process and escalating system issues to HR Data and Operational Excellence
    • Driving end user experience and ensuring system integration with other platforms.
  • Act as the Qualtrics’ Employee Experience SME – to manage tools; develop survey approach to seek employee feedback/insights; reporting and analytics to understand the most significant influencers of a positive employee experience
    • Use data to drive insights, tell compelling stories, and deliver ongoing continuous improvement projects to drive Global Talent Management Excellence through the Employee Experience model to support an environment where every Apotex employee feels they belong
    • Leverage and build data in new innovative ways to help drive the 6 employee lifecycle milestones as well as the 3Cs
    • Partner with HR and business leaders to drive insights that transform key moments and processes for employees
    • Build predictive and prescriptive insights for stakeholders and People Leaders

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Demonstrated ability to design, develop and deliver working group/focus group sessions
    • Exceptional facilitation skills, both in large groups and one on one, to move to resolution and resolve conflict in this process
    • Strong ability to influence without authority, utilizing performance consulting capabilities, to effectively manage local and global stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects in a fast paced environment and deliver results with strict timelines
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),. Aptitude to embrace and learn new technology quickly.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of leadership or management facilitation experience.
    • Experience implementing global/cross-cultural programs is preferred
    • Related HR professional designation such as Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL)
    • Human Resource generalist experience an asset
