Job Summary

The Digital Program Director will drive strategic Digital Transformation programs across all global functions, as defined by the digital strategy.

The Program Director will establish, working with the PMO office, robust program management practices and project methodologies and will be responsible for the overall prioritization, planning and execution of the roadmap. The Program Manger will be responsible for managing escalation and decision making by the Digital and Data steering committee while ensuring holistic management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily management of the Digital Transformation program
  • Responsible for ensuring the expected outcomes of the digital strategy and roadmap are met in collaboration with the Business Lead
  • Set up a prioritization framework to optimize projects and ensure proper resource allocation
  • Identify and coordinate the complex interactions between relevant functional teams and various existing governance bodies and processes across Apotex
  • Establish frameworks to track milestones, goals and objectives, communicate progress and proactively identify issues
  • Report on KPIs to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the program
  • Capture and mitigate risks; escalate risks to Business Lead
  • Ensure issues are documented and resolved
  • Define the program governance (controls)
  • Manage stakeholder communication
  • Manage program budget

Job Requirements

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent. MBA preferred.
  • PMI and Program Management Certification

 

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Experience managing large scale global, multi-year transformational corporate digital program that delivers outcomes based on business strategy and priorities.
  • Excellent program/project management knowledge and experience (tools and techniques).
  • Ability to balance strategic vision and execution capabilities to deliver results
  • Stays current and understands emerging technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict
  • Superior analytical skills
  • Budget management experience
  • Superior knowledge of OCM, stakeholder management, and key business processes
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an exceptional ability to work well with others to effectively interact with internal customers and external vendors
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

 

  • Experience
  • 10+ years experience in program management, running complex projects
  • Experience working in consulting as a Program Manager is preferred
