Job Summary


The Global Finance Manager will be required to provide financial support, with in-depth business analytics, to assist in decision-making.

More specifically, the primary function of this role will be to support the SVP Global Finished Dosage Operations with consolidated financial budgets, periodic forecasts, variance analysis, and business case formulation for decision-making as and when required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership in planning, budgeting and reporting to the Global Supply and Manufacturing (GSM) leadership teams – including GTA site QA/QC – via financial expertise to assist in the achievement of functional objectives.
  • Standardize performance measurement methodologies and processes, and support new ways of interpreting financial data to drive change.
  • Deliver financial insights to the GSM and site leadership team on process improvements, and identify productivity improvements to drive out costs.
  • Provide monthly financial reports and commentary to GTA sites. Support site leadership teams (SLT) and cost center owners in understanding variances to budget or forecast. Coach cost center owners in being able to extract relevant data in SAP to monitor spend
  • Monitor and analyse monthly financial and non-financial information received from affiliate sites
  • Continuously perform cost/benefit analysis and assess risks to plan and forecast and identify team actions to mitigate risks and build on opportunities.
  • Monitor departmental expenses based on total budget, validate, consolidate, analyse and communicate monthly cost variance and other metrics to Global Finance.
  • Travel to GTA sites as necessary to build trust and relationship with stakeholders as a key business partner providing financial support as required.
  • Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and, communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.

Job Requirements


  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related technical field; Post Graduate degree or MBA with a focus on Finance or Supply Chain Operations would be an asset.
  • 5-7 years of experience ideally in a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-facility, global environment
  • Operations finance experience, ideally with manufacturing and costing experience
  • Superior problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to articulate financial concepts to leadership at all levels
  • Strong computer skills, particularly MS Office, and experience in an SAP environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, across the global network and within functions
  • Exhibited business acumen in understanding cross-functional processes, requirements and relevant information flows; translating gaps into solutions
  • Excellent organizational and strategic leadership skills and experience leading teams and influencing activities across functions without formal authority to deliver results
  • Ability to appreciate differing backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences and to foster genuine consensus among groups from different backgrounds, companies, and functions
  • Self-motivated who can drive for results
