Job Summary


As part of the HR Data and Delivery Management team, this role will act as the central point of contact for all master data needs within identified value streams; by ensuring all requests are prioritized, addressed and resolved in a timely manner.  The HR Data and Delivery Governance Specialist will examine ways to deliver increased value through continuous improvement initiatives to the HR Community and business.  They will be accountable to work and contribute to critical and cross-functional projects on the HR System Roadmap.  In addition, the role will facilitate a cross functional Application Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) team to grow their problem solving, root cause analysis, and consultative skills, ensuring risks and issues are viewed as opportunities to learn and improve consistency, efficiency and effectiveness. 

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination and analysis of HR Data and Delivery Service by offering and in-depth and business-focused perspective with respect to performance.  Uses best practices and benchmarking in setting initiatives to provide guidance to their value streams and senior leaders.
• Develop a thorough understanding of Master Data usage, impact and maintenance by ensuring appropriate level of master data knowledge is maintained by end users.
• Play a role on enterprise-wide efforts involving Master Data across the organization by contributing to the synergies and integration elements required from HR Data to source system.
• Establish foundation data for the HR Applications supported by ensuring an assessment of its intended use, scalability, process integration and delivery to the business is effectively managed in collaboration with peers and HR Community
• As technical Subject Matter Expert for selected HR Applications, accountable for project managing activities identified on HR System Roadmap and support governance strategy in partnership with value stream owners, application consutlants, GIS teams and business stakeholders.
• Participate in cross functional projects and/or discussions relative to new or existing processes or HR systems. This includes support of strategic and tactical planning processes as required.
• Work with Value Stream SMEs, IT, Finance and HR Community to resolve day-to-day operational issues, as well as to design automated efficiencies that may be leveraged to streamline processes
• Develops and maintains HR business process maps to foster a culture of simplification while optimizing applications and process integration by analyzying and improving existing processes to meet new goals and requirements for the organization.
• Participate in the review and update of security and permission governance related to HR Applications by monitoring and establishing system access both locally and globally while meeting business and regulatory needs
• Address escalated access and configuration issues raised by Value stream, through extensive troubleshooting, analysis and continuous improvement solutions
• In partnership with the Application SME team, accountable to establish consistency and optimum use of tools across the HR community globally; this includes understanding of differences to accommodate for local requirements
• Oversee HR Application Knowledge library to drive consistency, transparency while advocating a shared area to build capability and agility of HR team
• Participate in vendor meetings and evaluate system updates related to value streams, including end-to-end testing, identifying areas that can be adopted that will result in operational effectiveness

Job Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration on Business, Economics, Finance or Computer Science, or an equivalent diploma
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a System Specialist within Human Resources (HR)

• Experience with SAP (SuccessFactors) is a must
• Good understanding and experience with HR systems and processes
• Prior Data Governance and Administration experience or exposure preferred
• Basic understanding of lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
• Sound knowledge of business process design, mapping and optimization
• Strong problem solving and creative solutions skills
• Ability to make recommendations based on the interpretation of analysis.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Agile and innovative and able to operate in an environment of change and ambiguity to support movement a rapidly evolving environment
• Operates effectively with people at all levels of the organization with the ability to build and maintain relationships
