Job Summary
The Project Leader, Sampling Operations acts as the project team leader for harmonization and/or improvement projects within the Sampling department and/or allied departments. The Project Leader is responsible for developing the project plan, executing the plan to schedule, and measuring intervention success. All plans developed, and action taken by the Project leader and project team must follow all Safe Work Practices, cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, and Company policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage selected Operational Excellence projects, programs or initiatives that will lead to significant improvements in process, technology, compliance and/or efficiencies within the Supply Chain that are sustainable.
- Lead project team activities required to complete projects on schedule and create contingency plans to ensure minimal project impact when changes do occur.
- Liaise with impacted Org Unit(s) to ensure project activities that disrupt on-going Logistics activities are coordinated to minimize the disruption.
- Ensure clear communication links are established between project team members, technical groups, consultants, and impacted Org Unit(s).
- Report on sampling performance and provide recommendations for optimization
- Monitor training requirements of department, determine root cause(s) of performance gaps and follow up on training and/or non-training solutions to address the gaps.
- Responsible for sampling of all raw materials, semi-finished, packaging components and third party materials and associated cleaning requirements
- Maintain compliance and audit readiness in the Sampling area. Able to perform sampling tasks in the presence of an auditor as per sampling instructions and good manufacturing practices

Job Requirements
- Education
- Graduated from a post-secondary technical education program in a related field or have 5+ years of successful work experience in a related technical field.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven leadership ability particularly in the areas of achieving outcomes through others, developing and maintaining positive working relationships, clarifying expectations and seeking understanding, and taking ownership and accountability for own performance
- Proven strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment (as part of a team) as demonstrated through previous work experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven experience in systematic problem solving
- Proven customer service skills
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office programs

- And / Or have 5+ years of successful work experience in a related technical field
