Job Summary

 

The Project Coordinator, RD7 provides support to the Project Management teams in the management and successful delivery of assigned projects in the portfolio.  Reponsible for the planning and coordination of activities related to new product development within Global R&D.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, manage and track individual project plans, trackers and schedules in collaboration with the Project Leader/Manager
  • Coordinate and execute activities to support sourcing, SAP material code-creation, procurement, receipt and stock management of APIs, excipients and other materials in R&D for New Product Development and ROW, in order to support the on-time submissions
  • Communicate and escalate identified changes, project risks and collaborate with the project team to determine impact and identify mitigation plans
  • Facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas and writing minutes as required
  • Manage availability of key project-related materials (eg. API, Excipients, RLD) and documents (eg. Licenses, SAP codes, change controls)
  • Support preparation of project status reports and Power Point presentations for different meetings and forums
  • Maintain project information in EPM and other project-related databases

  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • University Degree in Science, Business or related field including Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical, Health Sciences, engineering or a related field.
  • 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry in an R&D or related environment.
  • 2 years' experience in project management.
  • Developed project management abilities (PMP certification an asset).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the generic drug development process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others, foster teamwork and create a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Project Management tools.
  • High level of proficiency using MS desktop tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
