Job Summary


Responsible for the establishment, development and execution of detailed project plans for the Manufacturing Technical Services Program which includes:  Technical Operations Support Services, Manufacturing Technical Support, and Commercial Product Site Technology Transfer Teams. Projects include implementation and transformation of enterprise initiatives.

Provide direction and support to key stakeholders throughout the project management process to ensure an uninterrupted supply of existing global products while supporting the business strategies.

Management and tracking of project tasks to be completed by the cross functional teams, appropriate escalation and removal of barriers.

Project Manager influences the strategy and direction and engages across multiple stakeholders at all levels. Project Manager drives outcomes and proactively deals with issues.


Job Responsibilities


  • Utilize highly developed project management skills to develop detailed project plans/timelines for Global MTS projects, inclusive of Site Transfers as well as identified External Supplier projects, as requested. Lead, manage and execute projects in a timely manner to meet target dates and ensure uninterrupted supply to the markets.
  • Develop project charters/strategy reports for MTS projects.
  • Independently track project progress against business strategy objectives and defined project metrics. Anticipate risks, potential issues and changes to the plan.
  • Coordinate execution activities across the sites to ensure timely execution of the project tasks. Lead and delegate work as appropriate to team Project Leaders/Coordinators to ensure project tasks are on schedule. 
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus; understand customer needs, build relationships and collaborate with others. Self-confident and able to deal comfortably and professionally with Senior Leaders.

Job Requirements


  • University degree or equivalent in Business and/or Science related field (BSc, BASc Engineering or similar preferred)
  • Integrated Project Management & Technical Acumen
  • Familiar with development, manufacturing & packaging and testing of products, and capabilities/principles of operation of relevant equipment and facilities
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills with proven experience holding cross-functional members accountable and facilitating the decision-making process
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to internal and external customer
  • Experience with enterprise or companywide implementation and transformation projects; global experience would be an asset
  • Experience managing digitalization projects and CPV implementation would be preferred
  • 5-10 years’ experience leading/managing concurrent projects
