Job Summary

The role will focus on master data audits and cleanup.The successful candidate should have strong principles of SQL language and be able to read, understand and write SQL scripts. Data structures knowledge will be required for this position. The position will be hands on with data 80% of the time. There is a documentation component which will be expected and guided throughtout the work term length.

Job Responsibilities

  • Master data audit and cleanup
  • Documentation of findings after audits are completed
  • Development of solutions related to master data innacuracies.
  • Include the following for all Individual Contributors (those who are not People Leaders)

  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

  • Participate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and, communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Utilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Co-op education program (Database Application Developer)
  • Must be able to work on 2-4 month term projects and read SQL code.
  • Autodidactism is a must.
  • Candiate will need to learn on his/her own Transact-SQL scripting and any other computer language as required within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Academic experience with projects where SQL was used
  • Extra curricular experience with SQL or coding will be an asset
