Job Summary

To provide technical assistance to Corporate Engineering departments in the areas of Reliability Engineering, SAP Plant Maintenance and Project Engineering.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Reliability Engineers, SAP PM Associates, Project Leaders and Engineering Managers in performing data analysis, trending and reporting.
  • Work with Reliability Engineers/sites to help drive the progress with Reliability initiatives
  • Support any SAP optimization projects/activities
  • Support master data maintainers with executing SAP PM/MM master data changes
  • Support Reliability Engineers with developing equipment maintenance strategies and maintenance plans for new and existing assets
  • Work with Reliability Engineers to perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization
  • Support reliability engineers with conducting FMEAs and act as technical writer for sessions/reports
  • Support the change control process for reliability changes that include task lists/spare parts/plans or any relevant PM data
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical student preferably completed 2nd or 3rd year
    • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op education program
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, but capable of working independently on any assigned tasks.
    • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point are essential.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Access, and SAP would be beneficial.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience
    • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements is beneficial
