ST-Coordinator, Operations Apobiologix (8-12 months Summer, 2023 co-op student)

Job Summary

Apobiologix is a division of Apotex that works closely and in-depth with multiple global vendors in a virtual environment to deliver biopharmaceutical projects from inception to commercialization by co-development or in-licensing. 

As an Apobiologix team member, provide Apobiologix division with administrative and technical support for Chemistry Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) in addition to Program Management and Commercial Operational activities for biopharmaceuticals in the pipeline.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists commercial operations by evaluating data using spreadsheets and databases, to perform quantitative/qualitative analysis
• Assists in gathering, organizing and analysing data and presenting summary information and recommendations in project reports
• Assists in liasing with internal departments to gather required information for analysis
• Assists in project management activites related to Apobiologix projects, such as tracking and monitoring and reporting on status of activities and deliverables
• Assists in identifying and communicating gaps, risks or issues promptly and assists in working to resolve them in a timely manner.
• May support the creation of flow charts, tables or figures to be included in governance documents for internal processes
• May support technical team with product life cycle management (PLCM) activities
• Supports activities related to CMC of new and existing Apobiologic products, as necessary
• Responsible and accountable for compliance with all aspects of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as Apotex’s Health and Safety policies, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Safety Charter.

Job Requirements

• Enrolled in a University program.
• Demonstrated Pharmaceutical interest is an asset.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; must be able to communicate appropriately with other employees in different positions within the company
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point are essential
