Job Summary

The Analyst, Sales Planning is an expert on the customer payment and reconciliation process and manages all aspects from accruals to settlements to customer reconciliations. This also entails identifying and implementing process improvements and changes as the business environment evolves.

Job Responsibilities

·       Meticulously reconciles customer payments to ensure accuracy and to prepare backup for annual audit.

·       Performs payment reconciliations with customers and applies all learning to proactively prevent future errors. Ensure customer compliance to negotiated agreements.

  • Acts as a technical expert on the all aspects of the customer payment and reconciliation process ; provides training and support to teammates and other departments.

  • Identifies and leads the implementation of changes and upgrades to the payment process often with cross functional groups.

  • Works closely with the Key Accounts group and Customer Master  to ensure that all deal changes and Customer changes are executed immediately and flags any errors.

·       Executes timely payments and accrual monthly accrual reviews.

·       Manages the monthly balance review for assigned accounts, guiding decisions on accrued balances and outcomes

·       Demonstrated ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data

·       Responsible for the full cycle of customer payments– analysis, processing, customer feedback, dispute resolution and financial impacts and ensure that all documentation is prepared for auditors.

·       Identifies and develops initiatives to support department business needs, increase automation and improve productivity

·       Works as a member of a team to achieve all outcomes.

·       Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.

·       All other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • University degree in Business, Accounting or similar. CPA designation preferred.

 

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Knowledge of a sales organization’s business processes.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SAP and BW modules
    • Expert in PC based analytical tools Excel and Access.
    • Knowledge of data integration and cross-referencing.
    • Must be self-motivated and possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information.
    • Demonstrated ability to be detailed orientated and able to make independent judgment decisions.
    • Strong team player who works well in a group environment
    • Positive, can-do attitude and results oriented
    • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information and the ability to make independent judgement decisions.
    • Advanced computer skills including database and query development and spreadsheet manipulation.
  • Experience
    • 3 to 5 years related experience in the Pharmaceutical or CPG Industry.
