Job Summary
To work within the GSO-Logistics Processes & Projects team to provide data analysis, develop systems and own and implement projects.
Working directly with the Project Leaders, Supply Chain Realization to provide support for multiple projects and data maintenance specific to TruScan RM, NIR and Logistics / Distribution. In addition to this, the Co-op student will help gate keep pertinent information coming from Logistics / Distribution on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Support process improvement projects integrating with Logistics / Distribution and all other related partners to ensure the successful implementation of projects and processes.
- To work closely with the Logistics Processes & Projects team to provide daily support and respond to opportunities and needs for process and data analysis. Should be able to identify opportunities for analysis and improvement and make recommendations.
- Own process improvement projects integrating with Logistics / Distribution and all other related partners to ensure the successful implementation of the project.
- Gather, organize and analyze information pertinent to Logistics / Distribution and present summary information and recommendations in project reports.
- Assist the Logistics Processes & Projects team in evaluating data using spreadsheets and performing quantitative/qualitative analysis.
- Support Standard Operating Procedures revisions related to the implementation of new projects / procedures.
- Liaison with internal customers, support groups and leadership to gather required information and provide pertinent analysis.
- Work in a team approach environment to problem solving.

Job Requirements
- Education
- Intermediate to senior level student/ 2nd, 3rd or 4th year in a technical program.
- Preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, or technical-related field
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong technical background in computer and data applications
- Preference in Chemistry/Physics or related fields
- Quantative and empirical data analysis
- Team and solution-orientated
- Ability to navigate in a high-paced environment
- Experience
- Preferably previous co-op experience
- Preferably Pharmaceutical Supply Chain exposure
