Job Summary


We are looking for a strong and dedicated Supply Chain Analytics Manager to join our team. The Supply Chain Analytics Manager is responsible for inventory analytics, control policies and supply chain planning for the supply management global organization to ensure that the inventory program aligns with customer needs and supply reliability targets.  The position will be accountable for business ownership of related systems including development, analytics, performance monitoring, technology, process adoption, master data management and end user support structure.


In this position the Supply Chain Analytics Manager will ensure that the Global Supply Chain function is viewed as a strong partner cross-functionally in the organization and will proactively build collaborative relationships in all areas.


Job Responsibilities:


Inventory and Integrated Supply Chain Planning and Analytics:


  • Establish and maintain effective partnership to manage inventory levels and to ensure seamless end-to-end Supply Chain operations
  • Manage the Global Inventory Program on long term horizons, including assimilation of data from various forums to ensure appropriate prioritization and alignment with long term demand risks and opportunities
  • Develop, enhance, implement and monitor effective inventory metrics that will identify opportunities for improving working capital while maintaining service levels and managing risks and opportunities
  • Representative of Inventory at Supply Review (SR) and other forums as required
  • Development and management of Corporate Raw Material Inventory Planning Analytics as well a variety of other regular metrics for Supply Chain business operations
  • Work with Demand Manager and Supply Managers to manage effective Inventory Level Target analytics, adjusting as needed to balance supply and demand issues
  • Responsible for the execution of advanced analytical and modelling techniques to manage the KPIs
  • Serve as business lead for the development of various reporting initiatives, and design, implement and support supply chain business process improvements and efficiencies
  • Support Site and Functional Leadership as well as IT and business leads on the development of business cases for systems enhancements or investments, scoping the business objectives, ROI, resources and timelines for selected projects, programs or initiatives.
  • Responsible for supporting change management efforts to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processes and systems by the end user community.
  • Support development and implementation of Master Data Process improvement initiatives to support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements:


  • University degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a relevant technical field; MBA and APICS CPIM certification would be an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, finance or commercial operations in planning, project, systems implementations and execution roles. Experience in and knowledge of the Canadian or US generic pharmaceutical industry preferred. 
  • Experience leading teams and influencing activities across functions without formal authority to deliver results.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required, including pivot table, VLOOKUP’s, regression analysis and statistical analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and extensive knowledge of statistical data analysis.  Experience with Qlik Sense an asset. 
  • Proven ability in strategy development, process design and implementation skills. 
  • Expert knowledge of operational supply chain processes including the flow of materials and information would be an asset.
