Job Summary

Responsible for working under supervision of Supervisor, Quality Systems executing activities related to documentation and change management, assist with compilation / review of annual product quality reviews (APQRs) and participation in activities to support audits of the Richmond Hill site.  Responsible and accountable for compliance with all aspects of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as Apotex’s Health and Safety policies, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Safety Charter.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in the organizing and implementing documentation management activities. This includes but is not limited to organizing and implementing SOD change requests, handling SOD Periodic reviews and generation of reports / metrics.
  • Assist with the compilation / review of Annual Product Quality Reviews (APQRs) on all Apotex products manufactured at the Richmond Hill site which have been compiled by ARPL. This includes, but is not limited to, the review and analysis of data and the review of the contents of the compiled APQR for accuracy of information.
  • Assists in the activities to support execution of audits at the Richmond Hill site. This includes but is not limited to gathering of information for requests, assisting with walkthroughs of the facility, and participating in supporting the backroom activities during audits.  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, in accordance with job responsibilities and necessary department activities.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary Co-op education program, in a Science or Engineering discipline
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • Good oral and written English communication skills
    • Able to interact and work in a team environment producing high quality work
    • Good organizational, time management and learning skills
    • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Programs
