Job Summary

The Vice President of Reporting & Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for driving the US business commercial data and analytics strategy. This role leads a cross functional team to enable data-driven decision-making and deliver actionable insights supporting the company's growth. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, curious, and technically capable, with a passion for discovering and delivering data-driven business insights. Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial submission for the annua budget process as well as long range planning exercises.
  • Coordinate the forecasts for new products and work with other internal stakeholders to build systems for new product launch support and pipeline management.
  • Align with Finance organization on a quarterly tracking document and all budgetary submissions.
  • Provide data insights to the external partner analysis for strategic partnerships and deal making.
  • Ensure timely delivery of the forecasting process milestones and drive continuous improvement.
  • Enable Consistency & Transparency: Develop consistent and fit-for-purpose forecasting frameworks, approaches, and methodologies across multiple brands & therapy areas. Ensure timely communication of the forecasts and related assumptions.
  • Develop Strategic Analytics: to inform operational & strategic business questions in partnership with the cross functional teams as appropriate.
  • Build Forecasting Capabilities: Develop guidance and standard practices on forecast, benchmarks, analytics & presentations. Enable analytically driven dialogue across the company.
  • Shape & Inform Market Research: Partner with key stakeholders to outline business questions and inform/ shape corresponding market research and consulting projects.
  • Be a Strategic Advisor: to the senior leaders & decision makers on business risks and opportunities and gain organizational alignment on quarterly and annual revenue targets for the US.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, curious, and technically capable, with a passion for discovering and delivering data-driven business insights.
    • Framing & Analytics: Ability to deliver insightful analysis & synthesis that uncovers choices, trade-offs, and opportunities.
    • Financial Modeling: Proficient in building excel-based forecast models, P&Ls, and other ad-hoc analysis as needed.
    • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication / presentation skills.
    • Project Management: Ability to plan and tightly manage multiple work-streams while balancing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in generic pharmaceuticals required
    • Experience in branded pharmaceuticals and biosimilars is strongly preferred
    • Public company experience is strongly preferred
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
    • Proven experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with general knowledge of pricing, gross to net, reimbursement models and key customer contracts
    • Leading a Team: Experience in leading and mentoring a team of high caliber individual contributors
